Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, of course it lathers! Without the suds or bubbles, a bar of soap is not a true soap. Quaint Soap’s key ingredient is olive oil, but coconut oil is added into every recipe to produce those luscious lathering bubbles that everybody loves.

Quaint Soap is crafted with saponified 100% food-grade olive oil and coconut oil, and essential oils. No synthetic dyes or harsh chemicals. Each soap is unique, so be sure to check each soap's ingredient list for specifics. Some soap bars do feature additional all natural ingredients designed for a purpose to enhance your skin’s care.

A single bar of Quaint soap usually lasts 3 to 4 weeks for one person, but this can vary depending on how often it’s used and how many people are using it. For the best longevity of each bar, keep your soap dry and avoid letting it sit in water—using a draining soap dish or purchasing one of our wooden soap racks will help preserve its quality and prolong its shelf life.

Please store your Quaint Soap in a cool dry location either inside or outside of your bathroom. Bathrooms are often humid because of shower use. This will lessen the life of the soap. A closet, pantry, or drawers are a great examples of where to store your handmade Quaint Soap.

Quaint Soaps are all unique and hand poured. Therefore, no bar of soap has the same exact design or swirl as each bar or batch. This is our signature of our hand crafted products and we hope you find beauty in each bar you purchase!
